BMW has introduced its latest electric bike, the CE 02, which comes with a price tag of 6.2 lakh and offers a driving range of below 100 kilometers. While the bike showcases impressive features and a sleek design, some potential buyers have expressed concerns about the relatively low driving range given its hefty price tag.
BMW CE 02 stands out with its distinctive appearance, featuring 15-inch tires, a tall stance, and a low seat height of 730mm. These design elements contribute to its agile and nimble handling, making it suitable for urban environments and shorter commutes.
Equipped with a quad-LED headlamp, single disc brakes at both ends, a robust USD fork, and a single-sided swingarm, BMW CE 02 boasts a stylish and modern aesthetic.

However, one of the concerns raised by potential buyers is the limited driving range of the BMW CE 02. With a claimed range of only 90 kilometers, some people have expressed disappointment considering the higher price point of the bike.
For such a significant investment, many expect electric vehicles to offer a longer driving range, providing greater convenience and flexibility for their daily commuting needs.
It’s worth noting that there is a restricted version of the CE 02 available, weighing 119 kilograms, claiming a range of 95 kilometers, and achieving a top speed of 52 kmph.
These figures, while even lower than the standard version, may still fulfill the requirements of some riders, particularly for shorter urban trips.
BMW has always prioritized quality and reliability, and their motorcycles come with a warranty for added peace of mind. Customers can enjoy up to a 3-year or 36,000-mile warranty on all new motorcycles, ensuring that they are covered in case of any manufacturing defects or issues during the specified period.
